How it works
Three easy steps
1. Book a timePick a pickup time online and tell us about how many books you have.
2. Gather your booksPack them in boxes under 40 lbs and keep them in one spot if you can. Not boxed? That's fine too. You don't need to be home. Just leave them somewhere covered, like a covered porch or your garage, so rain or snow can't reach them.
3. We pick them upWe come to you, load everything up and give your books a second life. No cost to you.

What we accept
All kinds of books are welcome, including textbooks, hardcovers, paperbacks, children's books, fiction, nonfiction and cookbooks. They just need to be in good shape.
We accept✓ Used and new books of all types
✓ Paperback, hardcover, spiral-bound and leather-bound books
✓ DVDs, CDs, Blu-rays and video games in their original cases
✓ Textbooks and complete encyclopedia sets
We can't take✕ Books in poor condition (moldy, loose or missing pages)
✕ Magazines, including National Geographic
✕ Newspapers
✕ Personal documents
✕ Cassettes, vinyl records and VHS tapes
✕ Loose CDs, Blu-rays, DVDs and video games without cases

Is the pickup really free?
Yes. Our pickup service is completely free.Do I need to be home for the pickup?
No. You don't need to be there. Just leave your books in a covered spot that's protected from rain and snow, like a covered porch, under an awning or in your garage. If that's not possible, use sealed boxes or plastic bags. Wet books can't be reused. We'll pick them up during your scheduled time.What if the weather is bad?
Pickups may be rescheduled due to heavy rain, snow, or unsafe roads. We'll text you to pick a new time, and you can also reschedule anytime from your confirmation email.Should I pack the books in boxes?
For faster service, pack books in boxes under 40 pounds and keep them in one location. If boxing them isn't possible, we're still happy to take them.What do you accept?
